Temecula Girls Trip

I went to Temecula with a couple of girlfriends the past weekend. Temecula is so close to LA (1.5 hour drive) but I've never been there. They're known for wineries and air balloon rides.

The first spot: Lunch at Ponte Winery

This winery was very commercial and super packed. So we just ate lunch at a restaurant we had a reservation for (highly recommended to make one) and didn't do the tasting.

Off we go to the first winery for tasting. Cougar Vineyard & Winery is a really small winery.
Cozy and cute. Their bubbly was a tad too sweet for my taste, but it was very refreshing on a hot day.
Their tasting was $10 for 6. But I think we got poured for 7. Yay

After that, we went to Keyways Vineyard & Winery.
This is also very commercial. Their white wine were all good. I liked their rose too.
Their tasting was $12 for 5.
But we got two-for-one tasting deal by buying a bottle at the first winery. Score!!

The last winery we visited was Robert Renzoni Vineyards.
We got the two-for-one deal here as well, so we only paid $6 or $7 for 5 tasting.

They are known for their reds, and they were actually really good.

After getting a nice buzz, we picked up some Thai food for dinner and checked in a hotel.
We hang out in the jacuzzi while sipping some wine and chatting the night away.

There was a minor hiccup for the air balloon ride we booked for the next morning.
(It got cancelled by their own incompetence to do their job and I had a steaming battle on the phone with the owner.) But regardless, I had a great time hanging out with my friends.

I love girls trip!!!
