I got to go to Miami this past weekend. It was sort of work, sort of not really.
I did have to be a coordinator/interpreter for the people that came from Japan for the most part.
But one of them is my friend and other people were fun and nice,
so the overall trip was just fun times.
First day, we checked out the party scenes in South Beach.
Can you say, spring break?!
I wasn't really feeling the whole South Beach scene. It's a little snobby, over-priced, over-packed place with bunch of college kids. Maybe it was something to do with the timing I went there, but still, I didn't really like it. I know I sound like an old fart. But it was really just Meh...
But the hotel we stayed in was gorgeous. We stayed in Grand Beach Hotel, which is located about 30 blocks North of where all those clubs and restaurants are.
The guests look very European, more sophisticated, more my age and older.
I mean, look at this view!! This is more like it.
And the sunset. Bomb.
