Bangkok is an urban city, but it's pretty small. It's like a tiny version of Nagoya or Chicago.
There are temples amongst tall urban buildings.
Muay Thai is really popular.

There are alleys that look like this everywhere.
There are vendors that sell clothes, accessories like cell phone covers and such.
And of course... the food vendors! Oh, I heart street food.
