Thanks to my dear friend Aiko, I finally got to go to Thailand in November 2010.
First step, LA to Narita to meet up with her.
I flew Delta and who do I see on the plane?
My oooooold friend from college Jason! He was a flight attendant, on my section at that.
He tried to upgrade me to first or business class, but everything was full. T_T
But I had good time chatting up with him and the long flight didn't feel all that bad.
11 hours later, I landed in Narita Airport, and met up with Aiko at the Delta lounge.
Hello? Is this what "special" people get? Free draft beers, appetizers and such?
That's about 24 hours after I left my home in LA. Whew. That was a long trip...
On the first night, we stayed in a hotel near the airport. $20/night but still cute place.
I could finally take a shower to wash my grease away. Ew.
