First night in Phuket

We stayed in Marriott that my parents had the time share for.

We all got rays as we arrived.

Apparently, it's standard in Thailand, but all the towels in the hotel were folded like elephants. Love!

We deiced to eat at the hotel restaurant on the first night, as we were told that there were some sort of festival that night.

It was Thai food buffet, but it was just okay. I'm sure it was super expensive, but in general, all the fancy places in Thailand seemed they lacked flavor. I like the street flavor, I guess.

As we were told, there were a lot going on at the hotel that night. Beautiful dancers...



And we could float these flowers into the pool. I forgot what exactly the festival was called, but it's supposedly to honor the ancestors.
